The object of this services is
- To maintain strict control of construction materials & consumables
- To ensure that agreed welding procedures have been applied and maintained throughout construction
- To confirm that all welder qualification requirements have been met before employement on actual construction
- To oversee that weld preparation and design is in accordance with the procedure and assembly at tack-up stage prior to welding.
- To witness that stress relief is carried out in accordance with the relevant welding procedure or specified standard.
- To maintain documented records at all stages of fabrication for verification and traceability.
